The Cloud Bridge
Ages 4–8 · teamwork
To reach the far meadow they had to cross a bridge made of soft clouds, and it wobbled if anyone hurried across alone. Theo, remembering the river, did not dash this time. Milo felt the small flutter of worry and named it out loud.
Lumi suggested they share one plan before the first step. Nora would lead, Ava would count a slow rhythm, Theo would steady the middle, and Milo would help Pip at the back. Saying the plan aloud made the wobble feel smaller.
Step by shared step, the cloud bridge held them all. On the other side they laughed with relief and quiet pride. Hard things, they agreed, grow lighter when a plan is shared, and the meadow beyond glowed like a soft green pillow.
