The Sleepy Dragon

Ages 4–8 · calm routines

Beyond the reeds they found a small dragon who could not settle, puffing little worried clouds because bedtime felt too big. Milo knew that feeling well, from his very first night on the lantern path.

Lumi taught the dragon the same gentle routine: one slow breath, a soft stretch, a dim light, and a quiet goodnight to each toe. The friends did it too, so the little dragon would not feel alone. Theo, once so restless, was the calmest of all.

Puff by smaller puff, the dragon's worried clouds turned into soft, sleepy steam. A peaceful routine, they learned, helps the body remember how to rest. The dragon curled up like a warm hill, and everyone yawned along.
